HISTORY 2024-KYOTO, JAPAN, SEP. 13-15

The 6th World Symposium on Software Engineering (WSSE 2024) was held in Kyoto, Japan on September 13-15, 2024. The conferences are organized by Hiroshima Univesrity, Science and Engineering Institute, co-sponsored by Wuhan University, University of Houston-Downtown, Huaqiao University, technically supported by University of North Dakota, etc.

Accepted, registered and presented papers have been published in the ACM Conference Proceedings with ISBN 979-8-4007-1708-6.
 

We received near 100 submissions around the world, after several rounds of review, there are about 45 submissions accepted for presentation by the conferences. The topics are including Software Design and Testing, Mobile Application Design and Development, Data-driven Intelligent Computing and Human-computer Interaction, Intelligent Information System Construction and Information Management, Information Network and Software Security, Data Model and Multimedia Technology based on Machine Learning.

This year, the conference chair Prof. Shaoying Liu from Hiroshima Univesrity, Japan made the opening remarks. And Prof. Eunjong Choi from Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan delivered program address.

The conference were highlighted by three keynote speakers and one invited speaker, they are Prof. Jin Song Dong from National University of Singapore, Singapore; Prof. Tadashi Dohi from Hiroshima University, Japan; Prof. Tao Xie from Peking University, China and Prof. Chiew Thiam Kian from University of Malaya, Malaysia.

One best presentation will be selected from each session, evaluated from: originality; applicability; technical merit; qualities of PPT; English. The best one will be announced at the end of each Session. They are:
